Winner of the "2013 Gear of the Year" with a "5 out-of-5", the CHAM 97 delivers high-performance freeride versatility that excels in the most demanding terrain and snow conditions. Cham's combination of long tip rocker, 5-point sidecut, and real-deal titanal sandwich construction delivers incredible power, maneuverability and float. The unique flat/pintail design enhances tip float in the deepest snow conditions, offers instant speed control, phenomenal ease-of-use, and provides all-mountain power, tracking and stability that redefines "freeride" performance.
Built in the heart of Chamonix, the Cham 97 is also available in the lightweight "HM" construction for more nimble and accessible performance whether skiing all-mountain or backcountry touring.

The combination of a 5 point sidecut, extra long tip rocker, traditional camber underfoot and narrower «pin-tail» produces the reliability and versatility that are essential in freeride.
Moderate rocker at the tip only. For easier pivoting on flat skis with a smooth and forgiving feel in the turns. The rise is designed so that once the ski is on its edge, the ski works in the turn providing full-length edge contact.
Sandwich construction with full-length straight sidewalls, for maximum precision and performance.
Traditional sandwich technology with wood core and two titanal layers that provide excellent stability in carving and greatly reduce torsional effects. The power is provided by two layers of fibreglass whose basic weight varies depending on the model and the desired skiability. The double melamine/phenol sidewalls ensure flexibility and power according to the skier's needs in the different phases of the turn.
In partnership with POMOCA, Dynastar produces high-performance, resistant and easy to use skins cut to the shape of the ski.
Working with guides and riders in Chamonix to develop our skis is an integral part of Dynastar's DNA. Producing our skis in the Chamonix valley was an obvious choice. It is also a guarantee of quality and control over production processes.
