Californian stop of the FWT in Kirkwood (USA) – February, 27th

No break for the skier-skipper who, after taking part in three stops of the Freeride World Tour in January, a Trophée Mer Montagne in Saint-Gervais (Haute-Savoie), a movie with Dynastar in the Alps and an expedition in Norway for Warren Miller’s movie, is leaving without delay for the 4th stop of the Freeride World Tour.

Meanwhile, Aurelien was invited on Saturday night by one of his partners: TEAMWORK to go to the Parc des Sports of Annecy to kick off the football match between ETG FC and Montpellier HSC, where Montpellier won the victory.

On Sunday morning, he flew to the resort of Kirkwood, California, USA for the next stop of the FWT that will take place on Wednesday, February 27th from 10:00am local time (7:00pm in France).

Second North-American event / 4th stop of the Freeride World Tour

With a demanding face and an exposed and steep terrain, this North American event will be the occasion for Aurelien to return to the main stage and prove that everything is still possible for the title race.
His ten-year experience on the FWT will surely be an important asset in this intense competition.

Vivian Bruchez - new couloir opening

Sunday 17 february with Douds Charlet and Seb montaz we hicking up la petite verte to ski down the Chevallier Couloir. After, we hike up the gigord couloir were we found at the end a difficult part of mixte climbing, 50m climb with all the equipement for ski is not too easy...

This narrow couloir is invisible from the vallee but we found the line from a photo when Pierre Tardivel and Stephane Brosse ski down the nant blanc in 2009!!!

Not far from the top of les Grands Montets with a technical access give to this steep descent a really nice ambiance and experience.
