Comments about Dynastar SPEED COURSE WC R18:

The Speed Course WC R18 is a pair of race skis that do not exist anywhere else. With its traditional World Cup sandwich construction it has a high durability, and can cope with high speed skiing.
I used the Speed Course WC R18i for racing and also for free skiing. The skis are very good on icy terrains, and also on bumpy terrain. Since the skis are strong, it let me go over rough surfaces at high speeds.
The Early Turn Tip technology has made these skis easy to turn. Even with a turn radius of 27m plus, the skis itself help the rider at the start of the turn, and it does not take as much effort to start a turn, and because the skis are strong the skis do not turn sharply which would lead to a decrease of speed.
The only criticism I would have about the skis is that the Early Turn Tip may be too much of an aid to the rider. For race skis such as this, it is almost perfect, but with other skis it helps the turn too much, and it does not feel like the skier is controlling the skies.
