I ski 100% in the Rockies. Someone told me I should buy the size width based on what I love most, but I am confused here because even though I ski a lot of frontside terrain, I least look for powder

Asked by: Mofredi
Hi, Based off of the information that you provided, we would recommend either the Legend X 88 or the Legend X 96. The Legend X 88 is more of an All-Mountain ski. It has a recommended use of 60% off-trail and 40% on-trail. The Legend x 96 on the other hand is more of a freeride ski, with a recommended use of 70% off-trail and 30% on-trail. The best recommendation would be to go into an authorized Dynastar dealer to get your hands on both pairs of skis and find out which one feels right to you. You can find a dealer located near you by using our store finder at the link below; http://storefinder.dynastar.com/ Enjoy Skiing! The Dynastar Team!

Trying to decide between the 88,96 or 106. Ski with the family on groomed but my true love is trees and powder. I'm 5'9" 168 lbs. 46 years old. Skiing for 35 years. Advanced, ski hard blues to double black but done with moguls. Thinking 96?

Asked by: Mofredi
In the Rockies. I ski with my wife and kids on groomers and crud however that is just to hang with the family. I love chasing powder in trees and after big dumps. So even though I am 70% on groomers and crud, that is not what I love skiing. Someone told me to buy the width for what I love skiing most but am not sure which way to go. Any ther guidance?

You recommend an SPX binding. What about the Pivot binding?

Asked by: JVevo
Hi, The recommended binding for the Legend X 96 is indeed the LOOK SPX 12 DUAL WTR B100 bindings. That being said, the LOOK Pivot bindings are also a great option for these skis. You can choose the Pivot 12, 14, or 18 depending on what DIN setting you are looking to have. Whichever one you decide on, it is recommended to get the B115 brake width for these skis. Enjoy Skiing!
