POWERDRIVE PISTE

Our on-trail POWERDRIVE construction features our Active Wood Core construction and multi-layer (Ti | Visco | ABS) sidewall, unlocking the ski's natural flex for ultra-smooth edge grip, response, and control.

ACTIVE WOOD CORE
Combining the benefits of microcell with a wood core construction, ACTIVE WOOD CORE offers increased energy and liveliness with enhanced shock absorption, comfort, and ease-of-use.
CAP CONSTRUCTION
CAP CONSTRUCTION skis are nimble, lightweight, and more resistant to chipping. Instead of adding extra sidewall material, the topsheet and laminate materials wrap the core of the ski from edge-to-edge.
TIP ROCKER
Designed for hard snow performance, our subtle TIP ROCKER profile with traditional camber through the rest the ski speeds turn initiation while retaining powerful energy, shock-absorption, and edge grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth, fast and funI have only skied these for four days, but I have skied them on ice, loose granular and packed powder. They respond well in all conditioins, initiate a turn extremely well and hold a line when laid over on edge. WC Race ski feel without the stiffness and weight. Very pleased so far.

I'm looking to buy a pair of Speed Zone 14 Pro skis but cannot find them in my size (174). Is there a supply problem due to demand? I'm in the UK. Thanks for advice.

I purchased a pair of Speed Zone 14s at 174cm.  I've got 14 days on them and they are an amazing pair of skis.  One of the guys on the HS ski team is going to do the edges for me.  He asked what the factory settings are and if you have any recommendations

Asked by: BMOM
Hello, The factory angles of edge, for the SPEED ZONE 14 Pro (R21 RACING) are: Base angles of edge = 88° +/- 0.5° Lateral angle = 2° +/- 0.5° Enjoy skiing! The Dynastar Team!

I am interested in the Speed zone 14 at 174cm. I have a 2016 Look pivot 14 binding. Will it fit the plate on that ski? Dave Woods

Asked by: woods
Hello, Unfortunately, your 2016 Look PIvot 14 binding will not work with the Speedzone 14 TI ski. That ski will only accept the Rockerflex bindings due to having the R21 Racing Plate on that model ski. And...any of the other Speedzone skis only accept a system (Konect or Xpress) binding. To check out the Speedzone ski options and their bindings stop into your local Dynastar retailer. Follow the online link below to our dealer locator: http://storefinder.dynastar.com/l/list?cc=fr_FR Thank You! The Dynastar Team

Too bad your site doesn't have a comparison chart of features (or a compare these items check box)... I'm looking at the Speedzone 12 and 14. I don't see any difference in the ski geometry, is the only difference in the binding / binding plate systems?
